By developing the O&SR-app the project consortium proposes a new digital tool and an innovative practice to help address the “early school leaving” or drop-out rate of students. The use of data will change the approach to student guidance counseling from re-active to pro-active thus making it possible for student guidance counselors and teachers to help and address any potential issues a given students has before it is to late to intervene. In this way the use of data will help tackle early school leaving and through increased participation in education, foster social inclusion.
